Cold Trod


The Witch of the Woods brings word to Lord Alexander.

At last the Midland punitive expedition wades the Pfelt Burn and makes its way towards Caer Marachs. Their mission Is to take and burn the fortified border village .



A play test of Gathering of Hosts is bound to follow ere long. I confess that I have some doubts about the new melee mechanism where the number of dice drop as a unit takes hits but 1 game is not enough to settle the matter and despite misgivings, the system worked ok in the first test game. 

My clromebook had a nervous breakdown this morning so this I

    I look forward to the game.
    If you mean the melee system in the 3rd Nov edition of the rules I have found it to work well and give realistic/satisfactory results.I will be interested to see what you make of them in this game.
    Tablet taking fine pictures I think.

      Thanks Alan. The pictures were actually taken with my smsrt phone but I'm slowly learning how to use it better.

      Now that I'm working all on line I'm having trouble trscking vrrsions - another new thing to msster) but I think the November version had the fixed melee values and I am leaning towards going back to thst.
